Source: archive.org: Ceylon Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society 1963Pekarevasaka is the name of a tank mentioned in an inscription at Rasnakavāva-vihāra, and existed near the ancient kingdom of Anurādhapura, Ceylon (Sri Lanka).—At Rasnakavāva-vihāra, 3 miles north of the 16th mile on the Madavacciya-Horovapotāna road, a series of inscriptions of the 2nd-century contain place-names [viz., Pekarevasaka, the same, probably, as Pikaravasaka of the Pahala Tammanāva].
