Paustakaśimbikā (पौस्तकशिम्बिका) is another word for Śimbī (Lablab purpureus, “Indian bean”) according to the Bhāvaprakāśa, which is a 16th century medicinal thesaurus authored by Bhāvamiśra. The term is used throughout Ayurvedic literature.
