Source: archive.org: Shiva Purana - English TranslationPatyaṅghryi (पत्यङ्घ्र्यि) refers to the “feet of one’s husband”, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.3.9.—Accordingly, after Menā spoke to Himācala (Himavat):—“After saying this, with tears in her eyes Menā fell at the feet of her husband [i.e., patyaṅghri]. Raising her, the lord of mountains, the most excellent among intelligent people, made a true statement. [...]”.
