See Seṭṭi-Paṭṭanasvāmi. (SITI), chief or leader of the mercantile community of a town. Note: paṭṭana-svāmin is defined in the “Indian epigraphical glossary” as it can be found on ancient inscriptions commonly written in Sanskrit, Prakrit or Dravidian languages.
