Pātasāhi (पातसाहि) in Prakrit refers to Persian Pādshāh (title given to the sultan), and represents one of the Arabic-Persian words mentioned in the Vividhatīrthakalpa by Jinaprabhasūri (13th century A.D.): an ancient text devoted to various Jaina holy places (tīrthas).—(Sircar 1966 p. 243).
