1. Patalipujaka Thera

An arahant. Thirty one kappas ago he carried some papali flowers on his head and offered them to Vessabhu Buddha. Ap.i.224f.

2. Patalipujaka Thera

An arahant. In the past, while going from Bandhumati to bathe in the river, with three patali flowers in his waist, he saw Vipassi Buddha entering the city and offered him the flowers. Ap.i.290.
