Pasiṇa (पसिण) (Prakrit; in Sanskrit: Praśna) refers to “issues (associated with the way of divination)” (involving a deity entering a particular object), as taught in the Paṇhavāgaraṇa: (Sanskrit: Praśnavyākaraṇa), according to the  Sthānāṅgasūtra (Sūtra 755).—The Paṇhavāgaraṇa is the tenth Anga of the Jain canon which deals with the prophetic explanation of queries regarding divination.
