Paryāptaṃ (पर्याप्तं).—(= Pali pariyattaṃ = alaṃ, it is enough), it is enough: paryāptaṃ yaṃ bhagavāṃ…eko abhiniṣ- krānto, tat sādhu bhagavaṃ (mss. °vāṃ) rāhulakumāraṃ anujānāhi yaṃ na pravrajiṣyati Mahāvastu iii.263.9 (Śuddho- dana to the Buddha); (Mākandikālaṃ, i.e. -ka alaṃ) paryāptam iti Divyāvadāna 532.14.
