Source: academia.edu: A Study and Translation of the GaganagañjaparipṛcchāParṣanmaṇḍala (पर्षन्मण्डल) refers to the “whole retinue” (of a Tathāgata), according to the Gaganagañjaparipṛcchā: the eighth chapter of the Mahāsaṃnipāta (a collection of Mahāyāna Buddhist Sūtras).—Accordingly: “[...] Again, Śāriputra, it is not easy to express the splendor of the virtues of that Tathāgata’s Buddha-field, remaining here with a life-span of a world-age. Śāriputra, the whole retinue (parṣanmaṇḍala) of that Tathāgata reached to thousands of world-sphere, and the congregation of the Bodhisattvas was incalculable’”.
