Source: archive.org: Shiva Purana - English TranslationPariviṣya (परिविष्य) refers to “having served (foodstuffs)” [?], according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.3.52 (“The bridegroom’s party is fed and Śiva retires to bed”).—Accordingly, as Brahmā narrated to Nārada: “[...] After serving [pariviṣya—pariviṣya ca tatpunaḥ] sweet and well-cooked delicious foodstuffs, he requested them to take their food with palms joined in reverence and head bent down. Then duly honoured, Viṣṇu and other gods keeping Sadāśiva at the head took their food. They sat in rows together, took their food simultaneously laughing (and talking). [...]”
