Parivādin (परिवादिन्).—a.

1) Reviling, censuring, abusing, slandering.

2) Accusing.

3) Screaming, crying aloud.

4) Censured, slandered. -m. An accuser, a plaintiff, complainant.

-nī A lute (vīṇā) of seven strings; Śiśupālavadha 6. 9; R.8.35; N.15.44; महतीं परिवादिनीं च कांचिद् भुजपाशै- स्तपनीयपारिहार्यैः (mahatīṃ parivādinīṃ ca kāṃcid bhujapāśai- stapanīyapārihāryaiḥ) Bu. Ch.5.54.
