Parikriyā (परिक्रिया).—

1) Enclosing with a fence or ditch, intrenching.

2) Encircling or surrounding in general.

3) (In dramaturgy) = परिकर (parikara) (7) q. v.

4) Attention, attending to; गृहार्थोऽग्निपरिक्रिया (gṛhārtho'gniparikriyā) Manusmṛti 2.67.

5) Exercise, enjoyment; राज्यपरिक्रिया (rājyaparikriyā).
