Parikraya (परिक्रय).—

1) Wages, hire.

2) Employing on wages.

3) Purchasing or buying of.

4) Barter, exchange.

5) A peace purchased with the payment of money; कोषान् रक्षार्धकोषेण सर्वकोषेण वा पुनः । शेषप्रकृतिरक्षार्थं परिक्रय उदाहृतः (koṣān rakṣārdhakoṣeṇa sarvakoṣeṇa vā punaḥ | śeṣaprakṛtirakṣārthaṃ parikraya udāhṛtaḥ) Kām.; cf. H.4.122.
