1. Paribbajaka Sutta

A Brahmin Paribbajaka asks the Buddha how far the Dhamma is sanditthiko, akaliko, ehipassiko, opanayiko, and paccattam veditabbo vinnuhi. The Buddha explains. A.i.157f.

2. Paribbajaka Sutta

The Buddha visits the Paribbajakarama on the banks of the Sappinika and converses with a number of distinguished Paribbajakas- Annabhara, Varadhara, Sakuludayi and others. The Buddha tells them that there are four factors of Dhamma which no discerning recluse or brahmin can despise - not coveting, not malice, right mindfulness, and right concentration. A.ii.31f.
