Source: SOAS University of London: Protective Rites in the Netra TantraParatattvastha (परतत्त्वस्थ) refers to “staying in the highest tattva”, according to the Svacchanda-tantra.—Accordingly, [verse 7.226]—“Thus, from his meditation on amṛta, the Yogin conquers time and death or stays in the highest Tattva (paratattvastha). He is no longer bound by any aspect of time”.
Shaiva (शैव, śaiva) or Shaivism (śaivism) represents a tradition of Hinduism worshiping Shiva as the supreme being. Closely related to Shaktism, Shaiva literature includes a range of scriptures, including Tantras, while the root of this tradition may be traced back to the ancient Vedas.
