Source: Google Books: ManthanabhairavatantramParaśāstra (परशास्त्र) refers to the “supreme scripture”, according to the Śrīmatottara-tantra, an expansion of the Kubjikāmatatantra: the earliest popular and most authoritative Tantra of the Kubjikā cult.—Accordingly, “He who has the vidyā within (his) body by recollecting (it) attracts (towards himself) with the vidyā the supreme goal (of life), the best of women (parastrī) endowed with divine ornaments, the supreme nature, good fortune, the supreme scripture [i.e., paraśāstra], the supreme Command, the supreme knowledge, and the alchemical mercury”.
Shakta (शाक्त, śākta) or Shaktism (śāktism) represents a tradition of Hinduism where the Goddess (Devi) is revered and worshipped. Shakta literature includes a range of scriptures, including various Agamas and Tantras, although its roots may be traced back to the Vedas.
