Source: Shodhganga: Temples and cult of Sri Rama in TamilnaduParamecura is short for Paramecuravinnakaram, which refers to one of the 108 divyadesas according to Priyavaccan Pillai’s compendium of the Ramayana based on the Nalayirativviyappirapantam.—Paramecura-vinnakaram is the Vaikuntha Perumal Temple, built by Nandivarman Pallavamalla. The temple is astanga-vimana, accommodating the seated, standing and reclining forms of the Lord. The Pallava was a contemporary of Tirumankai Alvar. The temple is dated the early 9th Century CE.
