Panr is an excavated site revealing Kushan presence.—Recently at the excavation at Panr, a site located on 25° 41" north and 85° 48" east in the Samastipur district of Bihar, has yielded massive structural remains belonging to Sunga-Kushan period (Plate2-Fig.4). Panr has no sign of fortification and has yielded four broad cultural phases of whom period III belongs to Sunga-Kushana.
