Pandu Rajar Dhibi in Burdwan district is an excavated site revealing Kushan presence.—Pandu Rajar Dhibi is located on 23°35' north and 87°39' east in the Burdwan district of West Bengal. The ancient mound of Pandu Rajar Dhibi literally means “mound of king Pandu” lies on the flood plains of the southern bank of river Ajay and in the typical rural surroundings of Rada on a red laterite undulating plain. In 1961 from a trial excavation few microliths, black and red ware shards and shining black painted red ware shards were collected by D. K. Chakraborti and S. C. Mukherhjee both from Department of Archaeology, Govt, of West Bengal
