Source: What is India: Inscriptions of the Śilāhāras1) Paṇaturage is the name of a village mentioned in the “Bamaṇī stone inscription of Vijayaditya”. Kielhorn identified Paṇaturage with Paṇutre, 14 miles west by south of Kolhāpur.
2) Paṇaturage is also mentioned in the “Kolhāpur stone inscriptions of Bhoja II”. Paṇaturage is, as shown by Dikṣit, probably identical with Paṇutre, 14 miles S.W.W. of Kolhāpur.
