Pāṇama (fl. 1095 A.D.) is mentioned in the “Kharepāṭaṇ plates of Anantadeva I”. Accordingly, “This should be observed also in the case of their sons and grandsons such as the Śreṣṭhin Pāṇama, the Śreṣṭhin Kuḍukala, the Śreṣṭhin Mālaiya and others.”.

These copper plates (mentioning Pāṇama) were in the possession of Mr. Ramachandra Sivram Desai of Khārepāṭaṇ in Ratnāgiri District, Mahārāṣṭra. It is dated on the first tithi of the bright fortnight of Māgha in the Śaka year 1016, the cyclic year being Bhāva.
