Source: Wisdom Library: Rasa-śāstraPānājīrṇa (पानाजीर्ण) or Madājīrṇa refers to one of the four “evil effects of drinking wine in excess” (i.e., madyapana) according to the fifth volume of the Rasajalanidhi (chapter 20). Accordingly, “Madajirna (Pānājīrṇa) is indicated by serious flatulence, vomiting and burning sensation felt in the stomach”.
