Paḻamai (பழமை) noun

1. Oldness, ancientness, antiquity; தொன்மை. [thonmai.]

2. That which is ancient, as a place; that which is antiquated or old-fashioned தொன்மையானது. பரமர் பழமலையந்தாதிை யெனலாம் . . . மயிலாடுதுறை [thonmaiyanathu. paramar pazhamai yenalam . . . mayiladuthurai] (தேவாரம் [thevaram] 496, 5).
