The name of a disease which afflicted Abhayapura (capital of Ceylon) in the time of Kakusandha Buddha. It was due to the influence of the Yakkha Punnakala. Kakusandha visited the Island to dispel the disease. It is defined as an unhasisabadha. Mhv.xv.63; MT.349.
