paḍalyā phaḷācī ājñā (पडल्या फळाची आज्ञा) [or परवानगी, paravānagī].—(A rule or saying founded upon an incident in rāmavijaya) Used when a permission is stretched to justify acts not contemplated by the person granting it. phaḷāsa or phaḷāṃ yēṇēṃ To become productive or profitable; to yield fruit or advantage. Ex. kōṭi janmīñcēṃ puṇya jāṇa || phaḷāsīṃ ālēṃ āja tujhyā ||; also pūrva sukṛta phaḷāṃ ālēṃ ||.
