Source: Shodhganga: Temple management in the Āgamas (history)Padakku (पदक्कु) equals 2 Kuruṇi and represents a unit of measurement used in Medieval Temple Inscriptions.—Remuneration had several components. One main component was daily allowance of paddy or rice. This was measured out in various measures [viz., 1 Padakku equals 2 Kuruṇi].
