Pācīnapabbata is the name of a vihāra that existed in the ancient kingdom of Anurādhapura, Ceylon (Sri Lanka).—Pācīnapabbata-vihara on the Vaṅguttara hill was built by Sūratissa early in the 2nd century B.C.: it was at the foot of the Ekadvārika mountain.
