pacaṇēṃ (पचणें).—v i (pacana S) To undergo digestion; to be concocted in the stomach. Pr. pacēla titakēṃ khāvēṃ śōbhēla titakēṃ bōlāvēṃ. 2 fig. To be not only devoured but digested--peculations &c.; to have been so enjoyed, and so disposed of, as to permit no fear of detection and punishment: also to be swallowed and enjoyed without repugnance or remorse. 3 To be duly baked--cakes on the girdle. 4 To linger; to waste under protracted sickness; to lie soaking in any mess, lit. fig.
