Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionaryōṭāraṇēṃ (ओटारणें).—v i P (Or ōṭharaṇēṃ or vaṭāraṇēṃ) To stare at angrily; to glare at. 2 P (ōṭā) To be affected by the insect ōṭā, and thus be stopped in growth--trees. Hence, To be checked in growth gen. (i.e. from any cause)--trees or plants, and sometimes, children.
