Oṇojeti, (with vowel assimilation o ‹ e for oṇejeti = ava + nejeti, Sk. °nejayati fr. nij. Kern, Toev. II. 138, complementary to remarks s. v. on p. 5 explns. as assimil. onuj° ‹ onij°, like anu° BSk. ani° (ānisaṃsa ‹ ānuśaṃsā), the further process being onoj° for onuj°.
