Nyakkāra (न्यक्कार).—Humiliation, degradation, disrespect, contempt, insult; न्यक्कारो हृदि वज्रकील इव मे तीव्रं परिस्पन्दते (nyakkāro hṛdi vajrakīla iva me tīvraṃ parispandate) Mv.5.22;3.4; अयं हि न्यक्कारो जननि मनुजस्य श्रवणयो (ayaṃ hi nyakkāro janani manujasya śravaṇayo) G. L.32.
