Nyak (न्यक्).—A technical term in the Jainendra Vyākarana for the term उपसर्जन (upasarjana) defined by Pānini in the rules प्रथमानिर्दिष्टं समास उपसर्जनम् (prathamānirdiṣṭaṃ samāsa upasarjanam) and एक-विभक्ति चा पूर्वनिपाते (eka-vibhakti cā pūrvanipāte) P.I.2.43, 44.
