1) Nyagrodhī (न्यग्रोधी) is another name for Śrutaśreṇī, an unidentified medicinal plant, according to verse 4.136-137 of the 13th-century Raj Nighantu or Rājanighaṇṭu. The fourth chapter (śatāhvādi-varga) of this book enumerates eighty varieties of small plants (pṛthu-kṣupa). Together with the names Nyagrodhī and Śrutaśreṇī, there are a total of eight Sanskrit synonyms identified for this plant.

2) Nyagrodhī (न्यग्रोधी) is another name for Dravantī an unidentified medicinal plant, possibly identified with either (1) Jaipal—Croton tiglium, (2) Baliospermum sinuatum Muell or (3) Ratanjota—Jatropha glandulifera Roxb., according to verse 5.134-136. The fifth chapter (parpaṭādi-varga) of this book enumerates sixty varieties of smaller plants (kṣudra-kṣupa). Together with the names Nyagrodhī and Dravantī, there are a total of fifteen Sanskrit synonyms identified for this plant.
