1) Nirvartaka (निर्वर्तक).—Productive, as opposed to expressive; cf. किं पुनरिदं निर्वर्तकम् । अन्तरतमा अनेन निर्वर्त्यन्ते । अहोस्वित्प्रति-पादकम् । अन्येन निर्वृत्तानामनेन प्रतिपत्तिः । (kiṃ punaridaṃ nirvartakam | antaratamā anena nirvartyante | ahosvitprati-pādakam | anyena nirvṛttānāmanena pratipattiḥ |) M.Bh. on P.I.1.50 Vart. 1;
