Nirmāṇabuddha (निर्माणबुद्ध).—Buddha of magical craeation, a kind of Buddha in Laṅkāvatāra-sūtra, contrasted with dharmatā- and niṣyanda-b° and according to Suzuki, Studies, 142 ff., 208.f., related to the later nirmāṇa-kāya, q.v.: nirmita- [Page302-b+ 71] nirmāṇa-b° Laṅkāvatāra-sūtra 57.10; niṣyanda-dharma-nirmāṇā jinā nairmāṇikāś ca ye 283.6 (verse).
