Nīlakaṇṭhadīkṣita (नीलकण्ठदीक्षित).—A famous grammarian of the seventeenth century who wrote an independent work on the Paribhasas in Vyakarana named Paribhasavrtti. This Vrtti is referred to in the Paribhsendusekhara by Nagesabhatta and the views expressed in it are severely criticised in the com. गदा (gadā).
