Niḥsṛ (निःसृ).—1 P.

1) To come forth, slip away from, go out, issue from; बाणैः खरकार्मुकनिःसृतैः (bāṇaiḥ kharakārmukaniḥsṛtaiḥ) Rām.; Śiśupālavadha 9.25.

2) To depart, set out for; ग्रामादरण्यं निःसृत्य निवसेन्नियतेन्द्रियः (grāmādaraṇyaṃ niḥsṛtya nivasenniyatendriyaḥ) Manusmṛti 6.4.

3) To flow forth, ooze out, exude; यो हेमकुम्भ- स्तननिःसृतानाम् (yo hemakumbha- stananiḥsṛtānām) R.2.36. -Caus. To turn out, expel, drive away.
