Nidhyapta (निध्यप्त).—adj., quasi-ppp. (=, and probably hyper-Sanskrit back-formation from, Pali nijjhatta; contrary to [Pali Text Society’s Pali-English Dictionary], note Vimānavatthu (Pali) commentary 265.24 where nijjhatto is glossed nijjhāpito, saññāya paññattigato; I believe other Pali occurrences may be similarly interpreted; compare next and the following items), made to understand, comprehending: nidhyapta-cittena Śikṣāsamuccaya 130.13, with comprehending mind.
