Nidhidhyāsana (निधिध्यासन) refers to the third of three stages of learning according to the Bṛhadāraṇyaka Upaniṣad, forming part of the ancient Indian education system, which aimed at both the inner and the outer dimension of a person. In the first stage, nidhidhyāsana, students observed carefully, remembered minutely and meditated on what they had acquired.
