尼民陀羅 [ni min tuo luo]—Nimindhara, or Nemiṃdhara 尼民達羅 [ni min da luo] maintaining the circle, i. e. the outermost ring of the seven concentric ranges of a world, the 地持山 [de chi shan] the mountains that hold the land. Also the name of a sea fish whose head is supposed to resemble this mountain.

尼民陀羅 [ni min tuo luo]—Nemiṃdhara — [Place name] (地名 [de ming]) Also the name of Nemindhara Mountain (尼民達羅山 [ni min da luo shan]). It is the outermost of the Seven Golden Mountains (七金山 [qi jin shan]). Xuanying's Pronunciation and Meaning (玄應音義 [xuan ying yin yi]) Volume 24 states: "Nemindhara (尼民達羅 [ni min da luo]), formerly called Nemiṃdhara, is translated as 'Earth-holding Mountain' (地持山 [de chi shan]). It is also a fish name; it is said that there is a fish in the sea named Nemindhara (尼民達羅 [ni min da luo]), and this mountain peak's shape resembles that fish's head, hence it is also named this." Huiyuan's Pronunciation and Meaning (慧苑音義 [hui yuan yin yi]) Volume B states: "Nemindhara Mountain (尼民陀山 [ni min tuo shan]) is translated as 'Holding the Edge' (持邊 [chi bian]), because that mountain is the outermost edge among the Seven-layered Golden Mountains (七重金山 [qi zhong jin shan])."
