Nayaraṃga (नयरंग) is the author of the Gotamapṛcchā (dealing with the Ethics section of Jain Canonical literature), which included in the collection of manuscripts at the ‘Vincenzo Joppi’ library, collected by Luigi Pio Tessitori during his visit to Rajasthan between 1914 and 1919.—Nayaraṃga belonged to the Jinabhadrasūri branch of the kharataragaccha. His lineage was: Somayadhvaja—Jñānamandira—Guṇaśekhara. He composed this work in Śītapura in Sindh in VS 161(7?).
