1. Headship, superiority, supremacy, pre-eminence; தலைமை. மூவுலகுக்குந் தரு மொருநாயகமே [thalaimai. muvulagukkun tharu morunayagame] (நாலாயிர திவ்யப்பிரபந்தம் திருவாய்மொழி [nalayira thivyappirapandam thiruvaymozhi] 3, 10, 11).
2. Greatness, honour, esteem; மேம்பாடு. தன்சீறடியா லுதைக்கின்ற நாயகம் [membadu. thansiradiya luthaikkinra nayagam] (நாலாயிர திவ்யப்பிரபந்தம் இயற். திருவிருத்தம் [nalayira thivyappirapandam iyar. thiruvirutham] 34).
