navānnapūrṇimā (नवान्नपूर्णिमा).—f (S) The day (in the Konkan̤) of full moon of āśvina, (in the dēśa) of full moon of māgha, the feast of the annats or first-fruits. This difference arises from the eating of rice in the Konkan̤, which comes in in āśvina, and of wheat in the dēśa, ready in māgha.
