Nātyāyatavacana (नात्यायतवचन) or Nātyāyatavacanatā refers to “a not overly-long face” and represents the forty-eighth of the “eighty secondary characteristics” (anuvyañjana) as defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 83). The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., nātyāyata-vacana). The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
