Nasīhat (नसीहत्) refers to a “book of advice”, according to the “Nasīhat savā-sai” (classified as gnomic literature), which is included in the collection of manuscripts at the ‘Vincenzo Joppi’ library, collected by Luigi Pio Tessitori during his visit to Rajasthan between 1914 and 1919.—As the title indicates, this is a book of advice (nasīhat) on proper behaviour, with an extensive wide use of imperative forms. It seems to be meant for Vaiṣṇavas.
