For example, at Narimaṇam there is an inscription in the Tamil language on the south wall (tiers) of the ardhamaṇḍapa at the Agastīśvara temple. It registers the gift of 2½ mā of land, free of certain specified taxes to god Agastīśvara of Narimanram alias Kāḍārapārāntakanallūr by the ūravar of Kurrālam and Āyinūr.
This inscription belongs to king Tribhuvanachakravartin Rājarājadeva of the Chola dynasty and is dated 1235 A. D., April 21.
