Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarynāndaṇēṃ (नांदणें).—v i (nandana S) To dwell, reside, abide, to stay fixedly. 2 To continue (with, at, in) happily, comfortably, thrivingly; to stay long and well. 3 To be inhabited--a house, village &c. 4 To serve, answer, stand, to go happily through to the end. Ex. tyānēṃ yukti kāḍhilī tī kāṃhīṃ nāndaṇāra nāhīṃ. 5 To suit, fit, meet, to pass on with accordantly. Ex. tyācēṃ va āmacēṃ nāndata nāhīṃ. 6 To consent or agree to. Ex. tō mulagī dēṇyāsa nāndata nāhīṃ; hā dāhā rupayāṃlā nāndata nāhīṃ.
