Source: What is India: Epigraphia Indica volume XXXI (1955-56)Nandākinī is the name of a river rising in the glaciers on the Western slope of the Triśūl in Pargana Bhahān, lat. 30˚ 16ʹ 10ʺ N., long .70˚ 46ʹ 5ʺ E. High up the source of this river there is the temple of Nandādevī, which is situated near Tantarakharak above the village of Satol in the Garhwal District. This may have been the goddess referred to [as Nandābhagavatī].
