1. [Telugu: nāṇyamu, K. nāṇya, M. nāṇiyam.] Stamped coin; முத்திரையிடப்பட்ட காசு. அங்கங்கே நாணயங்க ளாக வைத்தாய் [muthiraiyidappatta kasu. angange nanayanga laga vaithay] (பணவிடுதூது [panaviduthuthu] 128).
2. [Telugu: nāṇyamu, K. nāṇya, M. nāṇiyam.] Uprightness, honesty, probity, honour, as in money-dealings; punctuality; நேர்மை. இதுமொத்த நாண யமே [nermai. ithumotha nana yame] (தனிப்பாடற்றிரட்டு [thanippadarrirattu] ii, 176, 431).
