To express Naked in the English sense some enhancing additament is needed. 2 Poor, penniless, destitute. 3 Bankrupt. nāgavēṃ kōlhēṃ or nāgavī savāśīṇa bhēṭaṇēṃ (To meet a naked jackal or married woman.) Said of one who has met with unexpected good luck. nāgavēṃ nācaṇēṃ To be extravagantly glad; to dance for joy. nāgavyā gōṣṭī sāṅgaṇēṃ-karaṇēṃ To speak out, bluntly, plainly, not mincingly or delicately.
